Registered classes allow clients with similar health and movement goals to progress through a multi-week series creating a supportive community experience. The focused classes allow for teaching to empower participants with attention to individual health conditions and goals. My 75min registered classes include myofascial release and an evidenced-based therapeutic approach with light strength training based on PNF stretch techniques. Follow the link for each class to register directly with the facility. Please note start date changes…

Progressive Registered Series

Private Yoga Therapy sessions are custom designed to meet your health and wellness goals. Sometimes clients just need a little one-to-one coaching to make their regular class time more effective; others may be recovering from an injury or surgery; or trying to address pain, stiffness and stress from repetitive strain.

Sessions are made by appointment only and include completion of a confidential client intake form including health history and specific goal(s) that may be physical, mental and/or emotional. Sessions are co-created and evolve with the client, and are held in-person at your home or mine, or online. Home practice sheets and check-ins/coaching are included. If the client is in active clinical care, clearance from their physician or other clinician is required. Approved collaboration with their clinical care team such as a physiotherapist and/or counsellor is ideal to ensure a coordinated approach.

In my experience, a three-session set is ideal to start to ensure the plan is meeting your needs. Local In-person (including mobile) session fees* are:

1 Session: $120 (30 minute intake review + 75 minute private session + individual practice recommendations)

3 Sessions: $325 (intake review + 2x 75 minute private sessions + individual practice recommendations)

5 Sessions: $450 (intake review + 4x 75 minute private sessions with progressive personal practice plans)

6+ sessions priced on individual basis depending on length of each session, practice plans provided and if the sessions are continuous. A break in sessions of three months or more is considered a new set requiring an updated intake form.

Please email me directly for more information, intake form, payment polices, and scheduling. I only see a minimum number of private clients per month to ensure I can provide the best support possible.

*Additional fees may apply for online sessions that require scheduling in the evening or weekends or for travel outside Richmond.

Drop-In Classes

Drop-in classes are a great way to try out a new style or teacher without making a commitment. Classes are usually ‘all level’ meaning that the teacher tries to find the middle ground of the group, offering a few options and modifications. One-on-one assistance or coaching is not generally offered in these classes if there is more than 10 clients. The instructor often ‘leads’ but does not really ‘teach’ a practice.

Drop-In at South Arm…

All Level Hatha - a balanced class of standing and mat postures, slower movements and holds using optional hand weights. Best for clients who can get up and down from the floor easily. Thursdays, 12:00 - 1:00pm at South Arm Community Centre (SACC)
