Savasana or Corpse Pose looks like the easiest of all yoga asanas, when it is actually one of the hardest to master. While the body lets go, the mind must stay alert, observing the relaxation process, before finally surrendering into rest. The final relaxation allows your body to settle and the effects of your Hatha yoga practice to consolidate.

Vrikosana or Tree Pose is one of the more popular and widely seen balance poses. Balance poses work with our ability to focus the mind. These poses develop harmony and poise. Breathing is slowed down which gives relief from nervous tension. Muscle tone is developed and coordination and concentration increase.
